On the afternoon of June 8, the College of Agricultural Engineering held a symposium for representatives of its 2026 undergraduate graduates in Room F304 of Leisi Building. Chaired by Shen Chengbin, Secretary of the College Committee of the Communist Youth League, the meeting was attended by senior professors from the University Working Committee for the Next Generation, college leaders, department faculty, all counselors and graduate representatives.

Professor Li Guowen encouraged the graduates to foster a passion for agriculture and engage in rural vitalization in line with the guiding principles from the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Deputy Director Chen Shuren analyzed industry prospects and urged students to consolidate professional knowledge and specialize in agricultural machinery. Graduate representative Gao Yue shared her experience in academic development and job hunting. Outstanding individuals and groups with remarkable performance in further education and employment were honored with awards at the event.

Huang Wenyue, Party Secretary of the college, delivered a closing address. He urged graduates to adopt a rational career attitude, remain thankful to their alma mater and teachers, take on the missions of the era, integrate personal ambitions into building a strong agricultural country, and serve grassroots communities concerning agriculture, rural areas and farmers.

This symposium served as a communication platform between teachers and students and set role models through recognition. The college expects all 2026 graduates to uphold their original aspiration to love and serve agriculture, contribute to building a powerful agricultural nation with down-to-earth efforts, and compose a brilliant youth chapter as students of the College of Agricultural Engineering, Jiangsu University.
