On the afternoon of April 30, Huang Wenyue, Party Secretary of the college, led a special laboratory safety inspection, with faculty from the Central Laboratory participating throughout the process.
The inspection focused on key areas including chemical storage and administration, electrical safety regulations and environmental sanitation, to thoroughly identify potential hazards and prevent safety incidents. Inspectors communicated with laboratory supervisors on-site to address discovered risks and specify rectification requirements. Issues that could not be fixed immediately were documented with follow-up rectification plans.

Moving forward, the Central Laboratory will cooperate with faculty in charge of each lab to optimize lab layout and standardize item placement to eliminate hidden dangers from unreasonable layout. It will keep improving laboratory safety management to secure a safe experimental environment for all faculty and students.
