On March 12, 2026, the 4th China Hilly and Mountain Agricultural Machinery Expo & China (Yongkang) Agriculture and Forestry Equipment Expo kicked off in Yongkang, Zhejiang. Centered on the theme "Empower Hilly-area Farm Machinery with New Quality Productivity, Boost Modern Agriculture via Integrated Efficiency", the event showcased cutting-edge technologies, achievements and applications for hilly farm equipment.

Invited to participate, the School of Agricultural Engineering, Jiangsu University displayed its latest research outcomes via physical machinery and display boards. The exhibits covered intelligent planting, water and fertilizer management, hilly operation chassis, special crop harvesting and farmland residual plastic film recycling, demonstrating the school’s innovation capacity in tackling key technical problems and developing farm equipment to meet national strategies and modern agricultural needs.

During the expo, faculty members held in-depth talks with agricultural machinery enterprises and large-scale growers to expand industry-university-research cooperation, accelerating the industrial application of scientific and technological achievements.

Going forward, the school will keep focusing on practical agricultural demands, strengthen technological innovation and achievement commercialization, and contribute to higher mechanization in China’s hilly and mountainous regions as well as comprehensive rural revitalization.
