On the morning of February 5, Huang Wenyue, Vice Dean of the college, led a team to conduct a safety inspection on laboratories open during the winter holiday, with faculty members from the Central Laboratory participating in the inspection.
This inspection focused on three key aspects: the implementation of safety management for laboratories during the winter break, follow-up rectification of chemical substance management, and electricity safety within laboratories. It aims to thoroughly identify potential safety hazards in open laboratories over the holiday period, verify the practical outcomes of previous rectification efforts, and firmly eliminate all types of laboratory safety risks.
During the inspection, any identified hidden dangers were discussed on-site with corresponding safety personnel in charge, with clear rectification criteria and deadlines specified. By combining systematic risk screening with immediate corrective actions, the college has effectively ensured the safe and stable operation of laboratories open throughout the winter vacation, laying a solid safety foundation for subsequent teaching and research activities.
